Scott K. Yun MD, FACS is a board-certified urologist with over thirty years of experience providing the highest level of urologic care to patients at PIH Health.  Dr. Yun’s practice involves all aspects of urology, including the surgical treatment of neoplasms involving the urinary tract, kidney stone disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia, incontinence, sexual dysfunction and female urology.  Dr. Yun is particularly renowned for his expertise as a surgeon and he specializes in complex open surgeries for prostate cancer, bladder cancer, kidney cancer and female reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Yun is proud of the compassionate care he provides to all his patients and for the excellent patient outcomes he has achieved and relationships he has nurtured in his decades of service within the PIH Health community.

Yes, I was at PIH yesterday with Dr. YUN and I was very pleased with him and the way his bedside manner, the way he listened to me and how he requested all of my lab tests that need to be done and (name removed) and his office, his assistant was very pleasant. We'd like to have more time with the doctor where we feel that he is not rushing out. I mean, he's a great doctor, but he rushes out and we barely can get our answers from our questions. So spending a little more time with the patient would be greatly appreciated. And to thoroughly check the patient, his Foley, any bleeding that may occur. Anyways, just a little more time and more thoroughness would be appreciated.

I had a great experience I was nervous at the beginning but everything went fine Dr Scott was really nice professional everyone was professional and nice there and the office was clean I did not have a bad experience like I said everything went well and I like Dr Scott for the most part even though this was my first visit he was very nice and professional and polite and he knew what he was talking about he's a great doctor and you can tell that he care about his patients and he's good at what he do!

Dr. Yun's office and staff are extremely friendly. They got me in right away. I barely had time to sit down. And Dr. Yun is a gym. He is the most warm and accepting person, a friendly person. One of the few doctors that I have absolutely really, really enjoyed seeing and meeting with.

I wasn't greeted at the front desk . I simply signed my name and was ignored until a nurse called my name. When I left no one said goodbye or acknowledged me. The doctor and nurse were wonderful! The location was too far, the waiting room too small and the lobby dirty. I would not choose this place for my primary doctor, thankfully it was a specialist visit.

One question you had for me was could I get an appointment when I needed. As a new patient coming there on a recommendation from my primary doctor I was at the bottom of the list apparently. Was about 2 months to get in there. But still, after arriving everything else was great.

Like most doctors they are always in hurry I think that they should spend more time with their patients I have notice that the quality of service has change due to the type of health insurance, when I had private insurance was different than now that I have HMO, may be I have to change it to a PPO.

I have been a patient of Dr. Yun for many years and have always been very happy with the care he has provided me. What I am not happy about -- and this has nothing to do with Dr. Yun -- is being inundated with phone calls from PIH to answer a phone questionnaire about my visit if I don't respond immediately to the e-mail questionnaire. These calls always come around dinner time including weekends. I do not appreciate that at all!

Yes, Dr. Yun is a great, great urologist. My husband's been going to him for like five years. This is my first time. I have a very serious issue, which he's doing his very best to get to the bottom to with a CAT scan, but he's so alleviating with his information, informative, telling me the things that probably isn't ruling some things out. So putting me at ease. at least right away for now until we can do the CAT scan. So I'm real happy with him.
