Dr. Richard Jordan became inspired to work in healthcare after experiencing medical challenges within his own family. After graduating from high school and becoming an EMT, Dr. Jordan set his sights on becoming a doctor. He completed his undergraduate studies at Loyola Marymount University and received his medical degree from UCLA. Dr. Jordan began his career in the emergency room, but soon realized that he preferred to help patients be proactive in their health. Dr. Jordan speaks English and Spanish, and is especially interested in helping the underserved population learn more about the complications of diabetes, cardiovascular disease and other chronic conditions to help them to live a healthier life. In his free time, Dr. Jordan likes to go mountain biking, hiking and camping and enjoys spending time with his two sons.

As soon as I walked in, the receptionist that attended me was very, very helpful, very professional, courteous. It's when I actually got to see the actual doctor, Mr. Jordan, Dr. Jordan, is where I felt much uncomfortable into the comments he said and why he couldn't help me file my paperwork for FMLA. He was not responsible since he was not the working doctor, that all specialists dump everything on the physicians, that's unacceptable. And that when he asked me the type of job I did, he laughed and pretty much said, yeah, I seen you guys in kiosk just sitting down, so why couldn't you go to work with the drainage tube coming out of your stomach? Very unprofessional in my opinion. So yeah, I'm going to have to reschedule with another doctor in that facility or with a whole different ?

As far as going to visit, all organized and nice and clean with Dr. Jordan. I like the way Dr. Jordan has his coworkers in a very good manner and responsible for every action of their duty they got to do. But all the respect with Dr. Jordan, very professional, very nice and clean, clean haircut, and very professional.

I have seen Dr. Jordan several times. He had been assigned to me as my primary but I switched to someone different. I am a patient that likes to make informed decisions and ask questions. In my view, this Dr doesn't like that. He has made demeaning comments and doesn't want to take the time to listen. He is condescending with patients and speaks with sarcasm. I accepted to see him for a same day appointment because I had just returned from a trip. I will NOT seek his treatment again.

The contact was very good, perfect, but for people who are not fully (unreadable). There is a problem communicating with the doctor because one may not fully understand the instructions or be able to properly express one's problems with him. Thank you.

The only issue is that when I call by phone, I have to wait too long on the line, and sometimes I leave my number for a callback, but it never comes.
