My first time with Dr. Palta. She was warming and an easy conversationalist. We shared quick banter before getting down to the details and she's wonderful and explains things simply. Very glad that she was available for my first appointment with a GI specialist.

Front the front desk, prep nurse, Dr Palta and recovery nurse everyone made the process easy. Dr. Palta was very attentive throughout the procedure and even had a follow up call from her later in the day telling me she really cares about her patients.

My total experience was fantastic.

Was not called in a timely manner. Had to wait 2 hrs and was still not called in or explained why I was waiting so long. No communication regarding waiting time. Could not wait any longer and walked out. Due to the waiting and my heart condition I started to feel nauseas and broke out in a cold sweat.

From all apects of my care at PIH, it has been a good experience thus far. My appreciation to all the physicians and other team members for such great empathy and care yesterday.

Hi, Dr. Palta is a very good doctor, very understanding and caring, easy to talk with and very pleasant. I like the fact that she calls you back after your surgery or procedure when you've got time to properly talk and you've recuperated a little bit. And I like her very much. I'd always recommend her to many people. Bye.

What I did not like was the nurse before my colonoscopy, the prep nurse, she put the IV wrong, so my whole arm got very big and thick. I was very unhappy about that. It hurt me the whole day. I had to be icing it all day long. I was told that she didn't put it right, so everything was going outside a bit between my skin. Thank you.

I recently had a colonoscopy and had a very positive experience. The entire staff was caring, professional, and efficient from start to finish. Although I only saw Dr. Palta briefly in the procedure room, she was very attentive, clearly explained the procedure and its risks, and made sure all of my questions were answered. What impressed me most was that Dr. Palta personally called me later that day to check on how I was doing, which showed genuine care and concern for her patients. The staff helped me feel comfortable and well cared for throughout the process. I was nervous about the my colonoscopy but every step along the way the nurse staff worked on putting my mind at ease. Everyone was very helpful, respectful, and courteous. When it came time for my procedure, there was a male nurse that was going to assist. I felt a bit uncomfortable about it since I'm a female. I asked one of the female nurses if she was going to stay with me throughout the procedure ( was going to be under anesthesia) and she say yes. I don't know what about my comment made her ask another female nurse to assist and asked the male nurse to excuse himself but I was so grateful for that. The male nurse didn't do anything wrong but it was all about feeling comfortable during an awkward procedure. Having the nurse sense what I needed without having to explicitly stating it, really made the difference and what a good nurse is all about. Thank you for hiring wonderful staff.

My only complaint is she is scheduling months out. For a six week follow up, I was offered appointments 4 months out.

Dr. Palta was really good. It was my first encounter with her, so I can't really, you know, expand on, you know, a trusting relationship with her yet. I was scheduled to see Dr. (name removed) and he was late for whatever reason. I wasn't told the reason why. And therefore, I wasn't seen for a whole hour while they moved the schedule around. Because I waited two months to get in to see a doctor, it was kind of annoying to be moved around and rescheduled with somebody else. But I didn't know Dr. (name removed) either. So my main complaint about any of the doctors or services that I have had is

This was my third GI Upper Endoscopy and even though Dr. Palta is not my assigned doctor, she took the time to explain that for my condition, I was going to need a Complete Esophageal Manometry. Even though, I have been dealing with a bit of physical discomfort for a while, I am confident that I have the best of the medical profession that it is going find a treatment for me.

Hi, Dr. Palta's staff was excellent. They were so kind and nice to me and I was a nervous wreck because I really wasn't looking forward to this colonoscopy. But they were so nice. I got to say that Dr. Palta is wonderful. She was highly recommended because I was originally scheduled with another doctor. No, I didn't like him at all. So I was very happy that they gave me Dr. Palta. And I thought she was great. And she's on vacation, I think, for a week, but they said someone will get back to me with the results of the biopsy in about seven days. So, but yes, I would recommend her. I thought she was good. And the staff, too, really lovely people and dedicated too. It's a job I wouldn't want, but anyway, that's all I have to say. Yeah, I would recommend her, sure. Anyway, thank you. Do I hang up now?

Dr. Palta explains everything in a clear, easy to understand manner. She is kind, listens carefully and answers all questions with patience. She is thorough and "leaves no stone unturned". I would highly recommend her.

I would have liked the doctor to come to the recovery room to give me the results.

I was unhappy with the service after being brought inside for the procedure. I was waiting and waiting and no one came over. There was no nurses to tell me, you know, the doctor was behind or anything. So I was left there waiting for maybe about an hour. After about 40 minutes, I started getting a little answering. I had the IV on me and I was not getting any responses. And I saw two people go before me that came after I did. So I was very unhappy with the level of communication. After I called somebody to come over, somebody eventually came over and one of the nurses and told me she would check on the status. And then from that point on, it was really quick. So I don't know what the delay was, but I was very unhappy with the service, like the lack of communication. I understand the doctor was behind, but I would have appreciated to be told the ?

Dr. Palta is a very good doctor, very caring. She really cares about her patients. She's very loving. She really takes her time and really worries. And where I have my endoscopy, everybody was very nice to us. Even the young man that helped us take us out to the wheel in the wheelchair. I don't remember his name, but he was so kind and caring, took very care of, good care of us, taking us to our car too. Everybody was very nice. Very professional.

I was instructed to arrive for my procedure at 8 am. The procedure was not scheduled until 10 am. I checked in at 8 and filled out some brief paperwork. I then had to wait in the waiting room until 9:30 before I was taken into the back for the procedure. I feel like I should not have had to come SO early.

I was dreading the colonoscopy but was pleasantly surprised how smoothly everything went. The staff was very kind and professional. Answered all my questions. I was on the gurney no more than 10 minutes and I was asleep and waking up all done. Prepping the day before was the worst part. (Drinking all that fluid)

There were problems with the lab orders. It was impossible to get in contact with the front office. One order was sent to quest the other PIH lab. The lab orders were not in the quest system. PIH took both orders and when they originally gave me the kit to obtain samples. Dr. Office was unresponsive. Finally, (name removed), Wells made everything right. I cried because of the frustration and inadequate front office and crazy check into the lab.

Dr. Palta was very nice and took the time to answer all my questions. I like the fact that she researched my history before talking to me.

Dr (name removed) was great. His med assistant who checked me in was rude needs a better personality! Now I'm waiting downstairs for and it's been an hour wait!!!

Dr Palta is always very knowledgeable, caring and friendly, putting me at ease during my visits. All my questions are answered completely and she is very patient with me to explain again if I am not clear on the medical terminology. I am so happy to have found her years ago and I feel very confident that she is giving me the best advice for my ongoing medical GI issues.

I would like to know if they would explain better about the biopsy. Since seven days, do they contact the patient or the doctor?

The Dr. And nursing staff explained the process and after care well. I felt care from them and felt at ease. Also the Dr. Called me very promptly after the procedure and answered my questions.

All the office staff, nurses, etc. were gentle, kind, caring, patient, and professional.

It appeared that the front desk staff were more focused on talking among themselves than assisting patients. I attempted to speak with an older female employee seated on the left-hand side, who had white hair. Each time I tried to ask a question, she interrupted me with a quick response and immediately returned to her conversation with her coworkers. The interaction felt dismissive and made it difficult to get the help I needed.

How's everything in the beginning to see the specialist but after a while I was comfortable I have this very nice doctor named Dr Renee palto he is very nice and professional she made comfortable and at ease because she is very nice and friendly and she kept telling me don't worry and she's very calm and I like that she gets straight to the point and she's friendly at it I like seeing her and I like her reassurance that everything is going to be okay and it made me feel honestly very comfortable and I like her staff members in the nurses they're very nice too even though this was my first appointment I'm pretty sure my other ones will go as well with her so I feel like I'm incapable hands!

I accidentally went to the wrong building, my fault. I called the office and they picked up immediately. I let them know what I had done and was 5 minutes late. I was still seen in a timely manner.

I was a little nervous and was going to canel the appt because I read the reviews wherein one patient stated a racist remark was conveyed by the doctor; however I felt no signs of racism. Dr. called me back expeditiously with results, she was very nice, and answered all my questions. The nurses were very nice , personable, informative, even the surgical tech introduced himself and showed me his badge. The anesthesiologist smiled at me, but never introduced himself. I had a melting pot(diverse backgrounds) of professionals helping me, and was surprised and delighted there was a A.A. male that was my technician which is rare and made me feel more comfortable. I had a great experience and thank you to the team!

Staff were incredible, they treated me with respect, were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. My only complaint would be sitting in the waiting room for over two hours and having to use the restroom facilities after taking the magnesium citrate. Sorry about that.

I love Dr. Palta's professionalism and explaining findings in a way that was easy to understood. I would definetely refer Dr. Palta to people I know. Happy and thankful she's my GI care giver.

I appreciated the fact that Dr Palta called a few hours after my procedure to explain anything that was found, the next steps and to check on how I was doing.

The scheduler for the procedure was quite abrasive both when I needed to reschedule and when my 2nd appointment was confirmed. As someone in the medical field, I believe patients should be treated with compassion. I explained that I initially needed to reschedule the initial appointment because my grandfather had a stroke. When I was called to confirm the 2nd appointment, I inquired about the prep instructions since I was working out of town for the weekend. Instead of providing the information, I was met with a lecture. All I requested was to have the instructions resent. Moving forward, I believe it's important to maintain professionalism and show empathy, as you never know what someone may be going through.

It was definitely a great experience. All the personal were attentive, prompt, Informative, caring and friendly. Thank you to those who personally helped me on that day.

The nurse that helped me with my procedure was the best. She was so professional and caring, she put me at ease and made me feel safe. I was nervous about my procedure but she but my mine at ease.

I felt like she didn't care about what I had to say. She kept contradicting herself. I felt like I couldn't get a straight answer from her. She made a slightly racist comment that made me very uncomfortable. The staff at this office is a little slow. They took down the wrong information, and I had to correct them. I don't think I want to go back.
