Dr. Nathan Hind’s desire to become an optometrist stems from his childhood. At a young age he was near-sighted. His optometrist gave him the ability to see clearly and perform to his full potential. This experience made him want to help others the same way he was helped. “The world is a beautiful place, and people should be able to appreciate it as clearly as possible,” he said. On his spare time, Dr. Hinds loves spending time with his family and friends. His second love is motorsports, especially motorcycles and vintage muscle cars.

They're treating me well and respectfully and very helpful. I am blind. And the technician where I order my glasses help me out save me money. Tell me why not. He was very helpful and he saved me money. I was gonna pay extra if you came out land there now. He advised me not to because of my length are not as thick. They wouldn't make a difference so if that helped me out, save me money in my pocket. No other technician ever did that for me. They were just trying to get more money off of me and this guy really helped me out.

Grateful for Dr. Hinds' patience, warmth, professionalism, and expertise-in light of substandard care I received from two PIH Health Lambert physicians. This medical issue has been a new one for me, and without Dr. Hinds' intervention in my care, I know that my condition would have worsened.

The wait times are too long. I can understand it if someone is having their eyes dilated, but just to see an optometrist? I was promptly given the testing by the assistant or tech, and then had to sit and wait, and wait, and wait. And that office-which is usually filled to the brim-was mostly empty. My husband is thinking about just going to Costco to see their optometrist. Cheaper and faster.

Dr. Hinds and his staff were very professional. Dr. Hinds very clearly is a master of his profession. He knows his trade very well. He knew how to use the tools in his office with ease, and I like that he answered all my questions and mostly that I got the results that same day, which was very comforting and reassuring going into the new year. I'm very happy that I was seen there for my appointment and I look forward to seeing him again if the need arises.

Dr. Hinds was great. Although he's managing multiple patients, we don't have one-on-one time, obviously, as much as the nurses and the staff to support the patient, or in this case, my father. But I do want to say that the staff care was absolutely amazing. Their attitudes are all very pleasant and over the top happy. They look like they're in a place that they are happy to work. And that really is demonstrated by every single person that supported my father. So please do make a note of everyone, the nurses, nurses' assistants, etc., as they were through the roof, excellent. Bedside manner, their attitude, their character was amazing. The doctor, not a lot of exposure, mostly communicated to them. Therefore, that's why my responses were what they were in the questions that were asked. So consider reframing your questions because ?

I had some issues figuring out insurance, but once those were sorted, everything was extremely smooth. Dr. Nathan Hinds was very professional, very courteous. Hello, everybody. My name is (PHI removed), and I had a wonderful time with Dr. Nathan. I don't even recall his last name, but I really was top-notch, and you saw me within one or two days. I mean, who could ask for anything better? And he was very calming and put me at ease, and his staff was very, very nice, but good to all, everybody, they're just wonderful to be around. So that's about it, I can't say enough about not only the staff but the doctor this time. I'd like to make sure and I look forward to my appointment in November and I'm glad to see I get him again and I get to be around his wonderful staff. I given the appointment over a month ago for a 9:30 appointment and when I arrived at 9:25 the receptionist did not say that their records showed my appointment until 11:30. It was not until the nurse that saw me explained that our appointment was at 11:30. I told him that it was made over a month ago for 9:30 and there was no way I was wrong since I can't take time off work as easily and I made all the appointments as early as possible. He went above and beyond to see if the doctor could see me and he was able to get Dr. (name removed) my original doctor to see me. If it was not for this nurse I would have been there until 12. This office has not been the best at service as this is the second time something goes wrong.

The Doctor was great. Very knowledgable, but did not recommended follow up with diagnosis. I had to fight to see neurologist and get MRI orders to follow up on sudden onset of doubled vision Only Glasses were prescribed. Despite being sent in from urgent care. 4th cranial nerve palsy to me,is,something requiring urgent follow up, he was great to,diagnose me But said nothing about further follow up which I had to do on my own.

The receptionist and front office personnel were very involved with their friends & co-workers & each other to greet or respond in timely manner upon arrival. Once acknowledged, no further communication was made by reception or front office. I was hurting for 5 days after procedure. Besides this Dr. does not know how to handle my eyes. The only Dr. Hinds knows my eyes very well and haven't had any trouble with my eyes.

You guys did very well on all the questions. However, there's a bit of a time wait, so I think they're overbooking Dr. Hinds. So, like, when you go, you have to wait probably 45 minutes, which everything else is great, but that's not great. Okay.

(name removed) was impressive. He was cordial, courteous, attentive connected so well with not only me, but I noticed with all patients. Dr. Hinds was very patient spoke in a manner that made you feel very comfortable and at ease. The office staff was very busy I must say, and the only detail which I feel in my opinion could show some improvement is when you walk in no one greets you! I signed in and I sat down. No one said we'll be right with you there was no follow up. I sat there until my name was called. This the only thing that I would consider to be a minor detail that deterred me from giving this office a 10 in the survey in all fairness again I repeat they were very busy but once contact was made, they were professional and very sweet

was disappointed that I was not able to have my eyes dilated because he said there wasn't enough time. And for me to try to go back to him to have my eyes dilated is an inconvenience because I have a husband who's bedridden. So that means I'm going to have to go back again. And I think that he should make his appointment so there is enough time to have my eyes dilated. The same thing happened with my son, Steven Aranda. He told him he had to go back to have his eyes dilated. So I think everything should be able to have time enough to have our eyes examined and also to have our eyes dilated so we don't have to keep going back. Thank you.

I was scheduled for an exam for glasses and contact fitting. When I came to my appointment, it was not marked that I was scheduled for a contact fitting as well, and I was unable to have the dilation exam for my eyes done the same day as my contact fitting because of time constraints. That was not relayed to me until after the contact fitting, and so I have to reschedule another visit for my dilatation.

The provider and optical staff that assisted me were very thorough and kind. However, the reception staff are not very friendly and the wait time to see the provider was too long. My appointment time was 3:20 pm and I was not seen by the optometrist until after 4:00 pm. Scheduling needs to better manage appointments so people do not need to wait as long. Altogether, I was at the eye doctor for 2 hours for a routine annual eye exam.

Dr was consice, detailed and extremely helpful. I asked some specific medical questions that the average patient wouldn't. Dr Hinds? Answered with pleasure. Some Dr's get annoyed when you ask detailed question. Anyways, I liked him and appreciated his caring.

Well, yes. Yeah, I went there. The doctor was very nice. I have no complaints about the doctor. He was very nice, but the staff and you couldn't get, I wanted to get glasses, but I couldn't, it was, the wait was so long. He, I went in there and the person taking care of the, taking care of the lady trying, trying new glasses was still with that person and she was going to be with her a while longer. Then I asked the receptionist if I could go to another, facility to get my guy. I know you have other facilities where you could do that, where I wouldn't have to wait all day. And she said, oh, I'm busy with the other lady, the same lady that the other person was taking care of. So you had two people taking care of this one lady and so I just left. So I won't be buying glasses there. So that's why I went there for, to get glasses. So that was my feedback. Again, the doctor was very nice, but you need more help there.

The delay in getting seen during my visit was not due to time management issues, but because it appeared the previous patient had a more complicated issue that needed to be resolved. I am only aware of this because the patient was making calls to a relative in the waiting room in front of me.

The doctor was very good. It was his assistant who had to do the eyeglass prescription. I thought he was really terrible. I had no confidence in him at all. My appointment was at 10:30 am and upon asking the other patients in the waiting room we realized that 3 of us had appointments at 10:30 am with Dr. Hinds. I don't think that's okay. I love the doctor and I love the staff but I arrived at 10:15 am and I left by 11:45 am and I didn't have time to even look for glasses because I had to leave. I had to make an appointment for another day to come back and look at glasses.

Overall, it was pretty good. Very clean and pleasant. My appt time was 9:00 and I arrived 15 minutes early as suggested. However, the wait time to actually get to see the doctor was very long. I waited about 20 minutes to see an assistant who does the pre-exam etc. I waited another 20-25 minutes before I actually saw the doctor.

Yes, Dr. Hinds is a, I have to say, is one of the most well- mannered doctors that I've ever met. Very kind, very well- mannered, very professional. Just, listens to what you have to say, asks you to do whatever you need to do to examine the eyes. Again, just very, considering my age at 85, I hurt here and hurt there, my neck, my back, everything. So, and I had a headache that day. But very, very professional and very attentive. Yes, I would gladly recommend him. I've gone to him before and I will continue to go to him as long as I can. And the staff there as well, Kenya, the rest of the girls there, they're just extremely well- mannered. They treat you with kindness and professionality. And I just really, it was a good experience.

The young man that helped me pick out glasses was very pleasant, did a very good job. I was very happy with him. He explained things very well to me. I was disappointed that so many of the things weren't covered anymore that had been covered in the past. But that's life, so can't complain. I was very happy with the doctor's care of me. My only complaint is that I had originally scheduled a dilation of my eyes and paid a $15 copay. I also needed to see someone about glasses I had previously purchased and was told by the customer service person to come a little bit early to be able to take care of that. When I got there, all they did was look at my glass prescription and the doctor reexamined my prescription. I did not get the eyes dilated. I don't know why I paid a copay.

My appointment was for 10:00 I arrived early. Was seen by a female and did the eye tests . Was asked to sit back in the lobby about 10:03 . Then waited and waited until just before 11:00 to see eye doctor. When asked to sit in lobby I was told it would be 20 minutes. It was not , he seen another patient before me . Never told it was going to take that long and no apology about bringing late

The provider provides excellent patient care. I feel that the staff seemed very disconnected. The front desk clerk was on her cellphone while I waited for her to acknowledge us. Also, the back office assistant seemed bothered that we were there for both contacts and glasses. She was not courteous and really handled our interaction like it was strictly business. In the past, the back office assistant is so helpful and made suggestions about glasses that we would be interested about. Although it was not a horrible experience, it definitely lacked quality. Patient care from the staff. We both felt like it was noticeably different than our past experiences.
