Office personnel and Dr were professional and courteous. My only concern is when my insurance is billed, they don't inform the insurance companies (I have dual coverage) of the secondary insurance.

I feel that PIH over schedules appointments. There were so many patients in the waiting room with only one doctor caring for all of them. Dr Yang is a great doctor!! Very professional personnel

Adding another doctor to this office has really improved patient care. I was done in an hour this time whereas it used to take 2 or more hours for an appointment and the waiting room was always full. My experience was much better than any of my previous appointments (I go every 6 months).

I had an 8:45 a.m. appointment. They asked to get there 15 minutes early. So I got there at 8:30 a.m. and I was called in probably 90 minutes later. Yeah, maybe it was around 10:15. By the time I left there, I had missed another appointment that I had somewhere else. I didn't get out of there until 11 o'clock. That was too long of a wait.

My previous ophthalmologist, Dr.(name removed), is in the process of retiring, so I chose one of his colleagues, Dr. Yang, to be my ophthalmologist. She was very professional and thorough. Since I had only seen her once, about three years ago, she read my chart very thoroughly and made a complete examination of my eyes. She explained everything, and she added a treatment that she said might improve my vision some. For that I am very grateful. She is an excellent doctor, and I will be privileged to return to her in six months.

Well, I'd like to start off with what you've done well. You have Dr. Yang, and she's in two offices. And she is phenomenal. She does take her time, which kind of throws off the schedule. Now for what you could have done better. Why have an appointment set up? I was supposed to be seen first by her. The gentleman that was coming in right after me signed in before me, yet, and that was before my appointment was started, the gentleman before me who had a later appointment was seen first by the doctor. And so I got seen a lot later than my appointment. Why have an appointment, why have a schedule to begin with if your office staff is not willing to follow it? This was really, really unprofessional.

Dr is always extremely courteous professional and explains everything very well. She is also a great listener and always asks if we have any questions.

I was made to feel comfortable throughout my whole visit

Dr. Yang was very thorough with the examination. She is knowledgeable and professional. She answered my questions and explained the procedure that I'll be having. Dr. Yang came highly recommended to me by a friend who had her cataract surgery done.

Dr. Wouldn't listen and try to understand what i was trying to ask her. She kept saying"I don't do that" for any type of procedure I asked about then said "no guarantee " when I was asking about anything regarding outcome of my vision. Said she wouldn't be comfortable doing my surgery and maybe I should look for a 2nd opinion. I waited over a month for appt and 1.5 hrs in the waiting room, and paid $55 to be treated like this?? Who do I get to do my surgery? I went home and cried.

Dr. Lisa Yang is the best Opthamologist I have ever been treated by. She takes her time and explains everything that she is doing and makes sure that I am comfortable with each test she performs. I appreciate her treatment style, as it helps keep the nervousness and anxiety to a minimum.

My opinion of PIH in general is a 5. My opinion of Dr. yang is a 10. She engenders trust.

I had just a couple of questions concerning my vision. She seemed too busy for me to ask and comfortably for me to understand. Dr Yang seemed very nice but, very busy. Maybe next time I'll have a chance to ask and feel better about my situation.

The downstairs check in area didn't notify the upstairs eye center that I was there. Otherwise, they took care of me well.

Yes, the one thing that is difficult for me is the distance. I live in Los Angeles and this doctor's office is like almost 30 miles from where I live. I'm a senior citizen and driving on the 5 freeway is not good for me. That's the one flaw that I have. going to this office.

My appmt was for a stye. I made the appmt the day before for 3:30pm if I had known I wouldn't see the doctor until 530 I would have passed and just dealt with my stye at home on my own.

I think the wait time is too long. In some cases we have older people in there and they get fussy just waiting or they get anxious. So I think that if the wait time was a little bit shorter it would be a lot better. Other than that it was great. Thank you.

Sorry to say but the decline in care with PIH is very noticeable. Waiting to see a neurologist for 8 months after a loved one was diagnosed with cognitive decline is stressful and unacceptable. Then you see the neurologist have a MRI then wait another five months for diagnosis. PIH be careful feels like Kaiser!! Fortunately Dr (name removed) and staff are still top notch. I enjoy seeing Dr. Lisa Yang, only thing it was a long wait and I got there 30 minutes prior to appointment and waiting room was quite packed . Too many germs, patients coughing without wearing a mask.

Office staff very helpful especially (name removed) at appointment desk who takes care of getting authorization for me to see Dr Yang (who has done 2 cataract surgeries on me} for stupid PIH "insurance" reasons I have to get ok'd to continue to see her. Who wouldn't want to continue with same Dr who you're comfortable with & who knows your eye health? Thought PIH was always concerned with their patient's wellbeing?

Dr. Lisa Yang is a very thorough and professional ophthalmologist. She always takes time to fully explain my treatment program and my progress. Approximately 5 years ago PIH dropped my health insurance Caremore and rather than loose my care from Dr. Yang I changed my insurance coverage to Scan Health Insurance. Dr. Yang is exceptional and PIH is fortunate to have her on staff.

I was scheduled the same ay due to a couple of cancellations. From the moment I walked into the very busy office, until I left, EVERYONE was so friendly, professional and updated me as to my wait time, which was very short considering the waiting room had many scheduled patients. I noticed everyone was called very quickly. The staff all had smiles and were very accommodating to patient who did not speak English. That was a first and very nice to hear and see! I was told when I called for my appt they were squeezing me in and as I stated above, I was seen very quickly. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Lisa Yang. She is EXTREMELY knowledgeable, passionate about the care she provides, very detail oriented. She takes the time to discuss what her findings were, shares in lay persons terms what this medical issue is. Her deep commitment to her patient's health is amazing and I am beyond grateful I was able to become a patient of hers.

It's always a pleasure to come for my appointment with Dr. Yang. She's so full and she's so fantastic. It's just a pleasure. I love that doctor. It's just too bad it's so hard to get into her. That's why I gave a lower number there. I come in the beginning of the year so I can't make the appointment after my visit there and I have to call back later in the year to get that appointment. Consequently, I tend to forget it. When I finally called, I think it must have been the end of November, I just was lucky to be able to get in in March. There was a power failure during the examination. Dr. Yang walked down the stairs to her car, got battery powered emergency tools and used a battery powered laptop to retrieve/input data-- she finished the exam under emergency lighting!! To schedule an appointment takes 6 months, that is too long. Waiting to be seen takes too long. ( one hour in forty five minutes). The staff and Dr Yang were superb!!
