I was referred to this office by PIH Urgent Care in Hacienda Heights, and I'm very grateful they were able to fit me in and see me right away. Lisa was thorough and took the time to explain everything during my eye examination. She clearly explained what she was seeing, answered my questions, and provided helpful guidance on what to watch for and how to care for my eyes going forward. In the end, I was diagnosed with posterior vitreous detachment (PVD). Although it was a stressful situation, Lisa's professionalism, knowledge, and compassionate care made the experience much more reassuring. I truly appreciate the prompt attention and excellent care I received.

The waiting is too long.

I waited for 90 minutes for a 10 minutes with the doctor. My appointment was at 3:00, I saw the doctor at 4:30. Office staff did not check in to share about any delays or how long the wait would be. Horrible service.

Long wait to get appt and in waiting room

She was very thorough. It took 90 min. after I was dilated to see her.

I have recommended my family to Dr. Yang, and she is extremely satisfied with Dr. Yang's expertise and treatment for lens replacement surgery.

I would like to commend Dr. Yang for her swift attention to my eye condition. She quickly went into action to take care of me and performed a laser procedure.( this was unplanned ) She is a caring, smart and hardworking doctor. Who didn't miss a beat. parking is terrible. I dislike under ground parking (I can't see well in the dark). Staff and Doctor were great and explained things that I could understand.

I was able to be seen the same day later in the afternoon. However, I was at the facility for about two hours. I felt that I was there probably a lot longer than I should have been. Although I was very happy with the actual doctor and the staff.

I walked up to the desk and told the staff it's ridiculous that I have not been called up and other people came after me get serviced so I told them to reschedule to Tue 06/02. If I miss an appointment it will cost me $25.

I was seen by the assistant technician to do the pre-visit tests very quickly when I arrived for my 3 o'clock appointment. But I did not ultimately get to see the doctor until after, well after 4 o'clock, closer to 4:30. And that's just too long. My eyes were dilated, I was uncomfortable, it was bright, and I don't understand the pacing of the appointment. I love Dr. Yang, but I think that was a little bit ridiculous.

It over an hour wait this time but sometimes emergencies happen.

I have found my NEW ophthalmologist Dr. YANG!!, who like Dr. (name removed) is great. She was calm, friendly and informative.

Dr. Yang performed cataract surgery for both eyes. She is meticulous and very knowledgeable. I trust my eye care with Dr. Yang. She takes time to explain what she is doing and is always available to answer my questions. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing eye care.

Dr. Lisa Yang was absolutely amazing as always. I had an emergency situation with my eye when I woke up on the 7th. I called and those people got me in an hour and a half later at the office. I had to wait an hour because she was so busy, but it was worth the wait because she always gives the time that is needed to each patient. I know she treats everybody else the way she treats me. and she spends time, she's very thorough, she explains everything and I could not ask for a better eye doctor. Very good experience. All the staff are pleasant and very helpful. The wait for an appointment is pretty lengthy, but that's true of all good doctors. Once they get to you, it's terrific. Dr Yang is kind, caring and very attentive to details.

The assistant who did the preliminary preparation for my eye exam was tremendously kind and courteous and just super. And the doctor also, she's wonderful. I have tremendous faith and respect for her. But the office staff that greets you when you come in, they're kind of indifferent. They're not, you know, I don't know how to explain it, but it's like the same kind of thing that I've experienced since I became quite elderly. It's something that I think they need to be reminded that the elderly, we were taught to respect people and to be kind to them, and most of us, I think, are.

Yes, we stayed two hours before we left. Two hours there.

Dr. Yang is a very thorough professional ophthalmologist. The only reason I answered, "Yes somewhat" to the question of whether I was seen in a timely manner is that we waited over 1 1/2 hours in the lobby to see the doctor. However, when we did see her, she spent a lot of time going over my chart in detail talking about everything in it from the last visit to the one yesterday. This is extraordinary. Most doctors are extremely busy, and Dr. Yang is no exception. However, I truly appreciate that she spent the time to go over every detail of yesterday's exam, comparing it with what was seen at my last visit. What really stood out was that she was so encouraging about the condition of my eyes, considering some of my other health issues. Both my wife and I would definitely recommend Dr. Yang to anyone seeking the services of a consummate professional ophthalmologist like she is.

Great Dr , she explained every question that I asked.

They had scheduled the doctor too tightly. There was only 15 minutes between 1 and 1:15 and she was running an hour late. So I think they schedule a little bit different.

The second and third questions, sorry, I made a mistake, are for number three, so mark number three. I marked one for the first question because it did take a little while to get my appointment, but otherwise everything was excellent. That doctor, Lisa Yang, is the best eye doctor I've ever met. She's wonderful, keeps excellent patient records, and treats you with kindness, as does the staff who greet you. Thank you so much and congratulations.

It was pretty quick and everything was great

The hard part was it took me about four to five months to get the original appointment with Dr. Yang just because it's so impacted. That's unacceptable.

Each time I've been to that office, I have waited an hour and a half or more to be seen. Because of that, I love the doctor, but not worth the wait, and because of that, I would never recommend this facility to anyone.

The doctor who had been my doctor of record is retiring, hence the difficulty in making an appointment. This was the first time I was seen by this new doctor and she was excellent.

I think when you have an appointment, the wait time is somehow long because there's many people there. So I think the wait time, if it was shorter, it would be better if you can do that. But I probably think you can't. So that's it.

I feel that PIH over schedules appointments. There were so many patients in the waiting room with only one doctor caring for all of them. Dr Yang is a great doctor!! Adding another doctor to this office has really improved patient care. I was done in an hour this time whereas it used to take 2 or more hours for an appointment and the waiting room was always full. My experience was much better than any of my previous appointments (I go every 6 months).

I had an 8:45 a.m. appointment. They asked to get there 15 minutes early. So I got there at 8:30 a.m. and I was called in probably 90 minutes later. Yeah, maybe it was around 10:15. By the time I left there, I had missed another appointment that I had somewhere else. I didn't get out of there until 11 o'clock. That was too long of a wait.

Very pleased excellent service

My previous ophthalmologist, Dr.(name removed), is in the process of retiring, so I chose one of his colleagues, Dr. Yang, to be my ophthalmologist. She was very professional and thorough. Since I had only seen her once, about three years ago, she read my chart very thoroughly and made a complete examination of my eyes. She explained everything, and she added a treatment that she said might improve my vision some. For that I am very grateful. She is an excellent doctor, and I will be privileged to return to her in six months.

Well, I'd like to start off with what you've done well. You have Dr. Yang, and she's in two offices. And she is phenomenal. She does take her time, which kind of throws off the schedule. Now for what you could have done better. Why have an appointment set up? I was supposed to be seen first by her. The gentleman that was coming in right after me signed in before me, yet, and that was before my appointment was started, the gentleman before me who had a later appointment was seen first by the doctor. And so I got seen a lot later than my appointment. Why have an appointment, why have a schedule to begin with if your office staff is not willing to follow it? This was really, really unprofessional.

I was made to feel comfortable throughout my whole visit

Dr. Yang was very thorough with the examination. She is knowledgeable and professional. She answered my questions and explained the procedure that I'll be having. Dr. Yang came highly recommended to me by a friend who had her cataract surgery done.

Dr. Wouldn't listen and try to understand what i was trying to ask her. She kept saying"I don't do that" for any type of procedure I asked about then said "no guarantee " when I was asking about anything regarding outcome of my vision. Said she wouldn't be comfortable doing my surgery and maybe I should look for a 2nd opinion. I waited over a month for appt and 1.5 hrs in the waiting room, and paid $55 to be treated like this?? Who do I get to do my surgery? I went home and cried.

Dr. Lisa Yang is the best Opthamologist I have ever been treated by. She takes her time and explains everything that she is doing and makes sure that I am comfortable with each test she performs. I appreciate her treatment style, as it helps keep the nervousness and anxiety to a minimum.
