I really appreciate the staff here for making an appointment to communicating where else I need to get my blood drawn or where to schedule a ultrasound to. I love the staff. They're very friendly, very communicative, and they make sure that I understand everything, as well as Dr. Morgan. I love her. Dr Morgan is always so warm and friendly. She makes the visits comfortable and I am open the talk to her about situations that are occurring at the time.

And she's so super nice and she is very thorough and explaining everything and she answers all my questions without getting frustrated or think that I'm challenging her because I do ask lots of questions. Dr. Morgan's bedside manner is unmatched. She has a genuine presence about her. That makes you feel comfortable and makes you feel like she actually cares. My first impression is that I am very lucky to have gotten her as my doctor.

She is very timely on referrals if needed and really does her best to use all of the methods that can help live a better life. No to seeing me in a timely manner bc my wait to see Dr Morgan after check-in typically 10min :) but once in a room typically takes her 45min to an hr to see me :(. However Dr Morgan does take her time to listen, be attentive, very thorough, very informative, very genuine, & caring.

I was extremely uncomfortable at this doctor appointment. She walked in and immediately gave me a hug without even asking if it would be ok. It is not appropriate or legal for her to have done that. During the whole appointment we only talked about my weight (I did not make my appointment to discuss that) and not anything else. She tried to get me to go see a bariatric surgeon or start on GLP-1s that i several times said "no" or "I need to do some research on my own". She would not take no for an answer and I felt like I had to give into something so I ask to see a nutrition specialist. I am all for losing weight but I have a medical condition that she was ignoring as well. At the end of the appointment she gave me another hug and it made me feel extremely uncomfortable again. I will be making a formal complaint as I know it is not legal for her to do that. I really like this doctor office as I have had great results with the other employees.

Dr. Morgan could have saved me from having a stroke. She noticed an irregular heartbeat. She believed it to be Afib. I started my blood thinner yesterday after the appointment, and I'll be seeing a Cardiologist next week. Now I'm aware and altering my activities etc.

Dr Morgan is a wonderful doctor and a kind and compassionate person. When PIH (Pioneer at the time) moved out of the Long Beach office (a few blocks from my home), I would have changed to a closer medical group, but I stayed with PIH because of Dr Morgan because she is the best.
