A graduate of UC Berkeley and Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, native Californian Dr. Joseph Lombardo was drawn to the field of medicine because he enjoys helping people. He chose to specialize in family medicine because he liked the variety and comprehensiveness of the specialty. Dr. Lombardo is a father of three, comes from a large family and grew up playing many different sports. He enjoys surfing and traveling in his free time.

Getting diagnosed 5 years ago, during Covid, was a very harrowing experience for me. Fortunately, every single PIH staff member I've encountered has been kind, caring, courteous. Keep up the good work, it doesn't go unnoticed.

Dr. Lombardo is always very kind, considerate, understanding and patient. He provides a wealth of knowledge and is very thorough. He explains things to where you are able to understand and always provides options. I'm very thankful for him and his level of care and kindness
