Jesus Zepeda PA-C says a chance encounter with a physician assistant while training to be a pharmacy technician inspired him to enter his profession. “I discovered I wanted to be more involved in managing patient health,” he explains. He specializes in endocrinology to make a difference, and enjoys working with patients to manage their medical conditions and improve their quality of life. He says, “Nothing compares to the satisfaction a patient exudes when he or she goes from helplessness to empowerment.” Jesus grew up the eighth of 10 children in South Central Los Angeles. He is active in his church and the California Academy of Pediatrics. He likes to cook, travel, hike and collect family recipes.
