(name removed) in the optical department of this office is patient, knowledgeable, and kind. I appreciate this particular PIH Eye location so much. The entire staff at this office is consistently outstanding.

Hello, yes, I love that office, especially because everybody in that office is really nice, respectful, and very, very polite. And especially Dr. Chen, she was so nice with me, and the people that is in the front of the office, everybody. So thank you very much.

Dr. Chen was excellent. The problem is I couldn't get a follow-up appointment with the ophthalmologist that was required for many, many months. I don't have a way to call into your office very easily. So if you're going to recommend follow-up care with other specialists, there needs to be a way to get in before many, many months later. Thank you.

Scheduling is difficult. Initially ,I called but on hold for more than 15 min so I hang up n went to schedule via internet, was informed that I would hear within the week. 12 days past, had not heard anything so I called office on Oct 1 to follow up and was told I had a schedule already for October 8 at 3:20pm! Imagine my anxiety as I already had something planned that day! Very bad experience with scheduling on line! No communication at all. I guess if I did not called on Oct 1 , I would not have shown up on the scheduled time n be charged for no show! (word removed)!

Office staff and facility was clean, happy, very welcoming, very helpful. The provider, the doctor, Chen, she was outstanding, explained everything, very patient, very knowledgeable, expressed her points of view and listened to my points of view. It's a little further away then other locations but I'd rather travel the extra miles to go there because of the excellent treatment I received.

I understand that things have changed over the years however, it's a shame that a person can no longer see a Dr for 2 different issues simply because of the billing issues and I didn't specify two issues at the time of making the appointment. The staff and Dr were wonderful. The "business" aspect is poor practice and very unfortunate. It opens patients to frustration, anger, mistrust and concern. You no longer make us feel safe or comfortable that we are your best interest.

I first met (name removed) at the receptionist counter. She was friendly courteous and knowledgeable. (name removed) took me back and did my first Eye Care exam. She was gentle and informed me of everything that was going to happen before it happened to me. Jennifer Chen my OD also explain the procedure she was doing. I took great comfort in this because I like to know what's going on before they do the care. I found this office to be quite clean and everyone I came and counter with was respectful. I meant Charlene who is a pharmacist at this office as well. She answered all my questions and was quite helpful. Yes, I definitely would recommend this office

I have been very disappointed with my recent doctor appointments, I was pleasantly surprised with how quick I was able to see the DR , everyone was very nice I felt comfortable with this Doctor she explained what caused my eye to hurt so much I bought eye drops that she recommended and I had instant relief ( thank you Doctor) so grateful.

Very professional support staff. The doctor was terrific. She listened and responded appropriately to all my comments and inquiries. Great doctor-patient encounter throughout our meeting.

Frustrated waiting for this long appointment for having a prescription glasses update ended having an med eye exam which is not a purpose of this appointment. Wasting a copay instead of vision examination. Yearly went to eye exam for the purpose of glasses . There is a mid communication in this visit.

Was disappointed that my new glasses that I received in December had to go back because it was thought the progressive line was not in right place then got back tried to wear first week just way to blurry and getting an appointment for this was stretched out so far that I was told lens could not be changed out of two pair of glasses bought November 27th Received sometime in December and I had to paid another $480 that I felt wasn't right.

I really enjoy the professionalism that Dr. Chen gives you. She's very sweet and personable.

The first few answers I gave, I did not understand your rating and I put ones. I wanted to put fours, very happy with the appointment, very happy with the office staff, very happy with the nurse. Thank you.

I went in discouraged and having an attitude that they aren't going to find my problem or be able to fix me. Dr. Chen listened and checked me out. I told her I understood what she was saying but how does that fix my problem? I've had it for two years. She said, "Let's take a deeper look". She took her time, not rushing, and found what the problem was. Now, I had a treatment plan that will fix it. I left the office singing ? in my heart! Thank you Dr. Chen.

I was seen by the media assistant on time. Doctor was late for few minutes but I thoroughly examined.

I was seen in a timely manner by both the assistant and the doctor. My wait time was very minimal. The doctor's bedside manner was great. She's very friendly and efficient and explains things well. She also listens well and wanted to make sure that I had the best prescription for my eyes. I would recommend her.

Both doctor and staff carried themselves in a professional manner. Everything was done in a timely fashion.

I loved her, the opposite of my prior visit in February; I will always see Dr. Chen. She is friendly, caring, and attentive. When speaking to me, she looked at me.

I didn't make the appointment the la Mirada office scheduled the appointment and change it to Santa Fe springs office

It was a complete waste of time. I had to wait to get the glasses and I told them they weren't right. The 1st day they made me warm for another 2 weeks to check about that. I went back in there. They still couldn't correct it and they won't get my money back until 6 weeks later. What's up with that lousy service and then keeping my money? Not a way to do business
