Extremely pleased with my primary doctor and staff

While checking in I got notification of my possible co paymentdeductible which was high. This notification did not take into consideration the second insurance.

I had a great visit with great staff. Everyone was really friendly. I just, since it was my very first visit meeting my doctor and the team, I just wish the doctor and maybe the nurse would have introduced themselves and, you know, who they are and their background.

The staff is great, very friendly, listen to you. I like them a lot. The doctor didn't do any follow-up with me and therefore I wouldn't come to her again.

Dr Jae has been my Primary Dr for approx 10 years. She is very personal and very compassionate and she really cares about her patients well being. I appreciate her so much! Thank you Dr Jae and thank you (name removed) and the rest of the staff! Merry Christmas!

Only negative was waiting for awhile in the cold room for the dr & waiting again to get the flu shot

My appointment was incorrectly booked. Charged a copay when I should not have been. Error was because of the person booking the appointment over the phone. Not the office staff. Waiting on reimbursement.

The staff at the doctor's office was very kind and they recognized that I had pre-registered. When I saw the physician, she was also very attentive. She went over my records and she was helping me get through some of the questions that I had in regards to labs. So I had a very good experience.

My nurse (name removed) was kind, detailed and very knowledgeable. You can tell she truly loves her job. The amount of love she puts into her job is amazing! Wish there was more people like her.

Dr. Jae is fantastic. She listens carefully and explains everything to me. She is compassionate and caring.

My appointment was at 8:40. I received a text prior. I filled out all the information through the text. I arrived 10 minutes early as requested. Upon checking in, I gave them my info, sat down, and I saw seven other patients be taken in before me. At 9:05, which was over 20 minutes past my appointment time, I asked why they were taking so long. I was never given an update during those initial 20 minutes. The girl at the desk said, oh, I think they're getting the room ready, and I saw the doctor at 9:15. I feel like that was way too long, or there should have been some communication with the front desk to let me know what was happening, not just leave me sitting there for 30 minutes.

The big issue is trying to register online. One gets an email, starts to log on to the email, I ask for a voice to be sent to my phone, my phone that's on schedule, on the system. It doesn't generate a code. I can't register. I tried six separate times. I was called the office, they couldn't help, they gave me the help desk, the help desk said they couldn't help because it was Frisia. I couldn't register, pre-register for the appointment and say I was coming through the system. That needs to be fixed to allow the patient to be able to pre-register. I used to have no problem. I get the code on my phone. I do not want to text. I don't keep records on text. Hopefully that's clear to you.

Very good service and care as I always experience with Dr Jae.

Dr. Jae is an excellent primary physician with good suggestions and very responsive to my needs.

Dr. Jae is wonderful. However, I arrive 15 minutes early as asked for all my apts, every-time the office has been late. I would say more than 20 minutes. The office is never on time.

Dr. Jae was very thorough. My yearly bloodwork panel results were explained, suggestions on how I can improve where needed were discussed. Dr. Jae asked if I had any concerns or questions, answered them thoughtfully, and helped me map out a plan to maintain and/or improve my overall health. Dr. Jae has a lovely manner and I feel very well taken care of.

I wish it didn't take 2-3 months out to schedule an appointment.

Excellent care and full trust!

I brought my care to you, but I'm a bariatric patient and had the surgery before I became PIH care under your care and your bariatric department does not want to treat me or look after me. That doesn't seem right.

I don't think that she agreed with me in a lot of my questions. I didn't think that the responses when she denied things that I would like for her to do for me. I wasn't happy with most of her answers. Thank you.

Good experience

Dr Jae has always been nothing less than exceptional. She always takes the time to answer my questions, and gives me her true opinion about my health. Having a Doctor that actually cares makes all the difference. This world could use more Doctors like her.

Although Dr. Jae listens well she doesn't offer any ideas or suggestions on how to better my health. Questions I have are always yes or no, doesn't really expand. Very professional, just kind of robotic.

It takes months to schedule an appointment with Dr. Jae. She listened to my concerns at first and then rushed me out

Dr. J is very thoughtful and very thorough. She is very pleasant to deal with, and she seems to care genuinely. I enjoy my visit with her every time. And then the other thing I would say is rescheduling a little bit tough. But other than that, the office is great. Thank you.

I had an appointment to consult with Dr. Jae at 9 a.m. on 6-25-2025 re: my annual lab test results. After check-in. I was greeted by one of staff with courtesy. Then Nurse (name removed) immediately guided me to a waiting room to check my blood pressure and body temperature prior to see Dr. Jae. I think (name removed) is exceptional nurse in that she handled every procedure in a satisfying professional manner. I was very comfortable w/Nurse (name removed) and Dr. Jae, who took time to answer my questions to my satisfaction with courtesy, respect and kindness. I appreciate the PIH's procedures for handling its patients with courtesy, respect and best accommodation.

Everyone was very thoughtful and helpful in getting me an appointment for a well visit that works for my schedule. Dr. Jae was great. Having an 8:40 app where I didn't see the doctor until near 9:30 was disappointing. Like everyone I have a busy schedule and I ended up at my appointment much longer than I should have been. But overall I was very happy with her and the office.

Dr. Jae spent time carefully listening to my concerns and answering my questions. I never felt rushed or that I had too many questions. I truly appreciate this office and how the staff is helpful and professional.

Found it a little strange that I had a 12:40 appointment, and there was a note on the door that the office would not be open until 12:50. (which it did)

Dr was rude she made me feel extremely uncomfortable I like I was bother her . She didn't fully explain things . We're not Doctors that's why we go to them for help . I'm changing Doctors real soon I'm done with PIH doctors

Dr. Jae is always very pleasant and respectful. I appreciate that she doesn't mind doing referrals or taking another look and follow up if she's not sure.

I wish I would be able to see her more often. The only time I get to see her is when I book ahead of time, like a month in advance. I wish she was more available other times when I have a need to see her. Thank you. She's a great doctor.

Office staff was excellent. They scheduled visits for specialists and requested past records.

Dr. Jae listened and understood my concerns regarding my issues I was having with my health. She was attentive and prescribed me the medications I needed. She is amazing!

It takes too long to get an appointment. The last time I tried to get an appointment it took 2 months.

Dr. Jae was personable, knowledgeable and very friendly.

They do answer the phone at this particular office. Sadly this is not done in most PIH offices.i have been put on hold for long periods of time only to be hung up on. I've had to go to the office in person to make an appointment. Dermatology on Putnam is notorious for this. Not Answering the phone has been an issue at PIH facilities lately and will most likely influence my decision to choose another health provider when health election time comes. I have been with PIH MANY years but with the security breeches and phone issues I feel it might be time to research other heath providers.

I felt like the doctor did not care very much about what I had to say. I kind of felt like she dismissed my concerns a couple of times. Otherwise, other than that, I guess she's fine. Thank you.

She is wonderful

She was knowledgeable about the profession of taking care of her patients.

Well, for one thing, I would like to have an appointment when I'm sick, not three or four weeks afterwards, or see somebody in the office that they would have the time to see me instead of waiting for another appointment. I like Dr. Jae, been with him for over five years, and thank God that I haven't been sick, so I've had to go to urgent care. So I would really like for you to fix this problem that we have of waiting three or four months to see your doctor. Thank you.

In general, I felt that Dr. Grace Jay does a good job with me as a patient. What I don't see from doctors at PIH in general, other than the pediatrician that my son sees, but doctors that I see is a very proactive approach where I feel like they are really a partner in my care. I was there for an annual physical. I understand that hormonal panels or blood work for hormonal panels or thyroid are not part of the regular process. I had to request that. I had to request to see a nutritionist. I was having some back pain, so I asked whether I should see a chiropractor. I just didn't know. The response is basically if that's what you want, but I'm not the medical expert, so I'm looking for more.

Dr. Jae is amazing!!! She is warm, courteous, respectful, experienced and the knowleageable. She asked me a question about the pain in my leg that clicked in how i was lifting heavy items. I changed purses and starting carrying my laptop in a bag with wheels and I am all better. Thank you Dr. Jae!!!
