The doctor was attentive and discussed all options.

From the time I arrived at PIH to the time l left everything was handled very well. Before my procedure there was a problem with my heart but the doctors and nurses went above and beyond to make sure it would not be a problem to go ahead with the procedure.

Very good experience with the doctor and nurse, like always, very professional feel very comfortable with the doctor and nurse thay understand me and my needs, feel very good when I see them.

Dr was kind, friendly and explaining the problem to me. He prescribed a medication, an MRI and will follow up, once we get the results.. I trust Dr R. Very much bc he's helped me in the past.

The nurse who attended me from the very beginning is very nice, polite, cortegious and therefore very professional, when Dr. Rastegar approached me I somehow figured out that he was the Doctor I was looking for and I was in the right fro second one up to the end Dr. Rastegar demonstrated his professionalism explaining from the MRI images every small detail about then problem that I have in my spine, thereafter he explained to me what were are going to do ... we have to wait for the approval for the first injection hopping for prompt response... Very satisfied, thank you very much. (PHI removed).

I think Dr. Rastegar was very understanding and he's a great doctor. He paid attention, he listened and then he made his decision. But he did it after listening to what I had to say. So I think he's great.

I would like to say about the doctor that he was very good and very informative and he listened to what I had to say about the pain level that I was in and he paid attention and he took his time no matter what he did and he listened and I appreciated that because I was in a lot of pain and he just helped me so I appreciate what he's going to do in the future because I have to have an MRI done and I appreciate that he's going to try and help me and look into maybe that there is something else wrong but he's a very good doctor and thank you.

Hi, I actually pushed a button by mistake. Instead of a 10, I don't know what I gave him, but it wasn't a 10. But he's got 10s all across the board. He's a lifesaver. He's very kind, well-mannered, just incredible doctor. Just incredible. I don't know what I would do without him.

Hi, my name is (PHI removed). I just wanted to say how wonderful of a doctor Dr. Rastefar is. He is so good at explaining things. He is so good about taking time and listening to you talk. He doesn't talk over you and just, you know, low you aside. He just really seems interested and like he really cares. And I would definitely advise anybody to get him. My name is (PHI removed) birth date 10-15-64, and Dr. Rastigar is one of the best doctors I've seen throughout my entire time with PIH, which is close to 30 years. And I wouldn't change doctors for anything in the world. He is absolutely the best. He's kind, he's very attentive, and I wish he was my primary doctor, quite frankly, but he is just only my pain management. But I truly, truly would recommend him to anybody that needed a doctor for pain management, 100%.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of this office and also the front office checking in. Dr. Rastegar's Nurse (name removed) was very pleasant and nice and so was Dr. Rastegar. I didn't like the idea when you get there, you got to stand in line at the desk to let them know you're there. And then to make an appointment, you have to go back out there and stand in line with the people that are there to let them know they have an appointment. And then for the people, we got to stand in line to let them know for the new appointment. I think when you come out of the doctor's office, his help up there ought to do that for you. But you don't have to stand in line twice. That's my only problem, and always has been. That's it.

I waited in the lobby over 1 hr after checking in. I had to ask at the front desk if there was a delay. No one knew they just said my paperwork was gone and I would be called soon. It took another 15 min. That was close to my procedure time so I felt rushed. Thats unusual this time. Every other time I was taken in a timely manner.

He's been taking care of me for a long time and has always been attentive to what's happening to me, my pain, and everything, all my surgeries and everything. He's been very involved in everything. I wish that doctors would know what they're talking about when it comes to CRPS, chronic regional pain syndrome. I have that. This doctor does, though. But when I go to the emergency room, they don't know what they're talking about. They never heard about the symptoms. And they don't know what to do with me sometimes. I just want to get relief. I want something because of pain. The pain is so excruciating. So that's about it. Everything else looks great. You guys got to keep on doing the right thing to do. And that is listening to the customer at all times. Thank you.

Hard to get timely appointments, booked months in advance. Even though he puts down to follow-up in 4 weeks, had to follow-up with assistant and that was 8 weeks after injection. The nurse that started my IV, didn't get the vein, so the anesthia didn't take so I was awake during the entire procedure.

Your services are real good, except you can't get an appointment soon enough when you really need it. Thank you.

They should have told me that there was a, that the provider's main office was at a different facility and I could have got in a lot sooner instead of waiting almost six months.

But you could improve your parking facility that you allowed us 30 minutes for free, but they don't get to see us until about 45 minutes later. So the parking is a questionable and not everybody has credit cards and so it's hard to pay cash and you have to look around for another box that accepts cash. That's the problem that I have every time I go. Thank you.

And then he also came up with sort of a plan of how to approach things going forward. And I really appreciated that and other options to my treatment, aside from just, you know, meds only or, you know, changing things up. And I haven't had that before. So I appreciate that. The doctor took great care of me, listened to all my questions, and gave me my answers that I needed. He took care of my health in a timely manner. The injections are working okay. They don't last as long as I would like them to, but through his recommendations, I get them every three months. I look forward to my next visit and in the future visits. Dr. Rastegar has taken care of me since Dr. (name removed), for lumbar epidurals. He is great like all the specialists that I see for my health at PIH.

Dr. Rastegar was terrific! He quickly assessed the situation, showed me exactly what the issue was/is and explained what was necessary to do. He was very pleasant and efficient. I felt very confident that he was well aware of the situation and how to go forward.

Best doctor I have had in a long time, he was great

Dr. Rastegar is really a great Pain mgmt doctor. I've had a doctor at PIH pain mgmt. that doesn't seem to care or have any compassion for patients that are really struggling with severe pain daily. And one of his staff member, (name removed) always greet his patients with a smile and truly listen & comforts you.

Every single staff member I encountered was so nice and professional. The nurses were extra caring. Even though they were very busy they treated me like I was the only patient. Bravo, well done.

I love all my doctors with PIH! I live in Lakewood and it is a 30 minute drive to Downey but it is worth it! Love my doctors! They are caring and very professional and make me feel loved!

Doctor was very, very knowledgeable and courteous and explained things great. I was kind of apprehensive about seeing pain management, not knowing that he could do anything for me, but he made me feel better and his assistant was very sweet. Dr.Rastegar always acts in a very professional way and answers all my concerns, in my last procedure the PIH staff was very professional acting with courtesy and empathy Thank you so much.

You need to add more pain management doctors, the wait to see him is outrageous. As my daughter was waiting in the waiting room for me a patient came in to question his medication, and a MA rudely assisted him. When he left she began to loudly tell the other front staff that he was stupid for asking questions. Even after the staff told her to stop she continued to laugh and make fun of him. That is absolutely absurd and I can't believe someone would have the audacity to complain about doing their job, such a problematic lady.

With me studdering everyone took time to talk to me. Told me to slow down and talk slow. Most doctors office I've been through rush me

Every staff member at the Same Day Surgery center was so kind. The smiles were real. I was asked compassionately if I needed anything many times. Staff members seemed happy with where they were working. It showed in the way they took care of all of us at the center.

If I tried, I could not think of anything negative to say about Dr. Rastegar. He is exactly what every physician should aim to be like. He is so engaged with his patients. He listens so carefully. He has a terrific sense of humor, and he never disappoints. If I could give him more than a 10, I would. He is the best. I pray he never leaves.

Very quick....in and out so quickly that I didn't have to pay the parking fee.

The Dr was as always clear and concise, listens and was very helpful giving me my first steroid injections in the neck areas, as he mentioned a couple of years ago the next time I have an episode that gave me a big boost in my comfort. The next step w the Doc is a review of MRI and discuss the future of pain management for me...maybe surgery.

Dr Rastegar and his staff are excellent. Trying to get an appointment through PIH is horrible! Waiting over 2 months to see a doctor almost any doctor when you are in pain is torture!!!! They suggest you see an available PA or NP but what good is that bc you are going to the doctor for an evaluation to get your procedure scheduled. And by the way you then have to wait another month or longer while in pain to have the procedure done because they are booked solid, frustrating frustrating frustrating !!!!

Yes, the problem I had is he said, come back in four months. So to make an appointment, you have to go back out to the waiting room. And there's only one line. And the people checking in, the line was almost to the elevator. And I had mentioned to the girl that you need to have two lines, one for appointments and one for checking in. That's ridiculous. I had to stand in line. But all those other people, they were checking in to see the doctors. I don't think it's right. You guys worry about what's going on with the doctor and stuff, while you ought to worry about what's going on when you have to go stand in line to make another appointment. That's it.

I just want to say that everyone at PIH Hospital, Dr. Rastegar's whole crew, I mean from the security guard when I walked in the front door to the nurse that walked me out in my wheelchair waiting for my ride, everybody is so super freaking nice and makes you feel so super comfortable. And I'm feeling great after my epidural injection and I thank you guys so, so, so very much.

Yes, Dr. Rastegar was outstanding, had no problems with them. He's always great, helps my husband. The only thing we wish is that he had more communication with the anesthesiologist so that he can understand my husband's CRPS. We always have that problem when we come into the patient room. The anesthesiologist never understands his condition. and what he needs. If that could improve, if there would be more communication with anesthesiologists before we get there, it would be great. My back was hurting very badly, very bad. And it took forever to get an appointment. And I had to wait so long. And it was just terrible, a terrible experience. That's all.

All went well. Office staff and the doctor were all very professional and kind.

Trying to get in to see my provider was almost impossible. It took months and months for me to try to get in, which is totally unreasonable. I was in a lot of pain. I needed to see him as soon as possible. I had to wait three months. Also, the phone lines, I was on hold for 45 minutes trying to make an appointment with my provider. Your phone lines are really outrageous that you have to be on hold and hold. And then if I hit one to have them call me back, do not call me back in a timely manner. The other thing is when I checked in, the receptionist at the counter are extremely rude and the lines are out the door. You need more help in the front registration area to check in patients and the receptionist need to be trained better. Thank you.
