My visit with Dr. Lin was exceptional. He gave me a lot of time and he really did a great job of explaining everything thoroughly to me. However, it took an extraordinary amount of time to get an appointment and I was only able to get this appointment because of help from another doctor and I called PIH hematology multiple, multiple times and I was not even scheduled until the end of January when they did finally call me back and I started calling at the middle of November, like November 15th. I think it's the first time I called. So that was really very frustrating and every time I call, it's like a wait forever. Today when I called, it was like 16 people in front of me and I was on the phone for like 45 minutes waiting for somebody to speak to me.

We hope that every patient is treated well and has always great respect for any need especially compassion

At the start of the survey, I didn't quite hear everything and I pressed one a couple of times, which were no's, which that was not accurate. I think most people are used to one being a yes or whatever, and then usually it goes down the other way. So that was a little confusing at the start. Otherwise, I would say that yes, I was very pleased with Dr. Lin and the office. And I've only had one appointment, but so far, so good. Thank you very much. Bye.

He showed utmost respect. He went into lecture like details discussing my symptoms and showing the stepes needed to narrow down the cause. All in all it was a pleasant interaction with Dr Edwin Lin

Dr. Lin is an excellent doctor. In fact, I have referred him. He's also my sister's oncologist and I wouldn't want to go to anybody else.

The time in the waiting room was excessive but the time with the doctor was exceptional.

appointment at 10:20 a.m. We came early incase we had to fill any more paperwork I know he good at job, but waiting for more than 30 minutes is excessive. After waiting for a lengthy time, I approached the desk to see if and when we would be seen. She checked as to when we would seen. He was only at his 9:45 patient. we were called at 10:50.

I'm happy we got the federation for parking. Thank you so much.

Patent caring kind

I was denied use of this provider by my old insurance company and sent across town to another group. I went to the new group of physicians and never felt comfortable. When open enrollment came again I changed my provider and came back. Dr. Lin was able to see me again, I feel so safe again. Thank you doctor Lin and your entire staff.

Nurse was great too

I have never seen an overflow of patients waiting to be seen. Chairs in waiting room all filled. I arrived 15 minutes early, had already signed in online, and had a longer wait than I have ever had before! This has nothing to do with my visit but I want to add that I had to call into PIH this morning, I was on hold for 1hr.40th mins! Something really needs to be done about leaving calls on hold this long!

I just wanted to say that he's very, very nice. And he's the only office that gives validation tickets for the parking. I'm 90 years old, don't have a lot of money, so that's really, really good that you give validation. Thank you. Bye-bye.

The staff were all so kind . I went on a particularly busy day so my apt did take longer than usual but everyone's kindness and attentiveness made up for it. Doctor Lin was so amazing . He has great bedside manner and explained things well.

Good afternoon. I was very disappointed with the reception department. Why? Because I arrived 15 minutes to 11:00, my visit was at 11:00, and they saw me at 11:30. Many, many American citizens, white people, and Mexican-Americans came by, so I stood up and asked the lady if they were taking appointments based on color, race, height, or size. I was angry because I felt discriminated against.

This office and providers have been consistently excellent in dealing with me. The are very patient and friendly.

My meeting with Dr. Lin was a positive experience amid a difficult situation. Dr. Lin has a nice demeanor. He is patient and able to put me at ease. I have total confidence in him to treat my illness.

I don't know about you, but I know about Dr. Lin. He's an excellent doctor. What I like about him the most is how he explains my medical conditions to me and shows me what all the numbers mean, really explain it in depth. I really like that a lot. Then I know what I need to improve or change my eating habits or exercise more or whatever I need. He really goes into detail in what's going on with my charts.

Yeah, the only disappointment I have, and it is a very, very tremendous one, is that the alternative methods, alternative therapies are not offered in the oncology department at all of PIH. None. None at all. That's not good. Because people need choices as to what they're going to do as far as alternative and whole holistic and or natural and other things to do for their problems when they come in there. That's not being offered there. That is the only qualm I have about that department. Otherwise, they do tests and so on and so on. That's why I go there only for tests. I'm not going to get treated there because of what I'm telling you. And that's an important issue that needs to be tackled by PIH. I hope that they take up the challenge. Thank you for listening.

Office instructed doctor to see the patient after me, instead of me, therefore my wait time for the doctor to come in to the exam room was about an hour. Doctor apologized for long wait and said I was seen out of order by mistake.

With this being my first experience with cancer, I don't know what to expect. He took his time with me and I appreciate that. I know I will have alot more questions as my treatment journey begins.

The doctor's office, the staff, the doctor, they all do a great job. The reason I would not give a 10 on recommending this place is because PIH rips people off to park. They charge an exuberant amount of money just to park for an hour. It's outrageous. If they didn't charge for parking, I would have been able to give a 10, but I'm hesitant to recommend anything with PIH to someone else. Most people don't have money nowadays. PIH should start cutting people some slack. Things are tight out there. Have you ever bought eggs? I think it's ridiculous that we are charged to park. Other than that, I love the doctor's office. I love the staff. I love the doctor. PIH has been a good place. It's just when somebody got it in their head, we could make more money to make people pay to park.

Their switchboard operators are hard to get through to, it takes you too long. You usually get put on hold for 10 or 15 minutes to try to get through, to even talk to a doctor. So you need to improve the switchboard to where you don't have to wait all day.

Dr.Lin is a good man. Dr. Lin is patient. He listens. During the appt asked me (3) times if I had anymore questions. Explained my medical condition, treatment plan carefully, wonderfully. Taught me what to look for regarding my condition and, as indicated, the signs to look for regarding any future disease progression. Blessings!

It is an excellent service, I may have made a mistake when I marked the first two ones, but he is the best doctor I have ever had, very attentive, very helpful, very understanding and very capable.
