While the provider promised to direct the staff to give a specific lab order. I realized it was not the case. Luckily, I checked, asked and waited for the right lab order.

1. I was not clear on medicaiton dosage 2. I tried to call several times and the phone doesn't go through or the message goes unanswered 3. my appt was scheduled 1 hour before I was seen. 4. I had questions and he was already leaving the room.

His direction and guidance have saved me from making erroneous Choices -that would have been deleterious to my Health (Unknowingly) - so I am Grateful for his Medical Education of me on Difficult Choices that have been presented to me! Dr. Gastelum is an endocrinologist who is primarily treating me for my diabetes. However, like many of my other PIH Health Physician doctors, they treat the whole person. They are willing to advise me on several things. Dr. Gastelum took the time and effort to look up a food item that was recommended to me by another provider and then counsel me on how it affects my calcium level, which apparently is too high right now. He told me to lay off certain foods for a while so he can figure out how to get my calcium level back down to normal. I appreciate the time Dr. Gastelum spent with me yesterday. His staff also took part in my treatment, and I appreciate them.

Doctor is always on time for appts. and listens to my concerns. Provides information that helps with my symptoms & provides guidance.

Parking needs to be validated. It's not right to charge patients for parking.

I was seem one hour after my appointment time. Very disappointed that I had to wait so long and the staff did not inform me that he was running behind.

Dr. Christian Gastelum is a very, very knowledgeable physician. I really like him because, again, he explains everything in detail form. He answers all my questions. He allows me, he's very receptive, so he listens to my concerns and then provides me professional and very accurate feedback on my medical condition. I am extremely happy with him. He is, again, very knowledgeable. I don't see anything uh... any improvement for the doctor uh... the only improvement that i would suggest is the uh... the when we call the office uh... the the response time from the office staff is very slow and so that i'd i'd recommend that there should be improvement when we call it just takes forever than for them to get back to us uh... that's the only improvement but otherwise the doctor is excellent about stuff is excellent and they just need to work on getting back to their patients.

I love this ENDO doc and would see no other, but they overbook. I was waiting in a room for 1 hour before he came in. Unacceptable... And it takes months to make an appt with him unless the nurse hands you a pre-scheduled appt, when you are done. But better not try to change it because it will be 6 mo before you can get in again.

My only problem has been getting through on the phone. And I know there was system problems before, but even right now, just you're really on hold for half an hour, 40 minutes to make an appointment or ask a question. So that's the only thing that's been my concern. Thank you.

Well, I like Dr. Gastelum. I felt relaxed with him and I felt that we kind of understand each other, which is a very good thing. And I feel confident that he'll be able to help me to regulate my thyroid. And I definitely would recommend him to friends, family. The front office girl did not bother to check the sign in sheet to check in patients. I had to go up to ask her if she checked me in, she asked if I sign in, but didn't even check me in the order that I arrived. The patient who arrived after me was taken before me, so my 10:40 appointment was delayed even though I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time as I was asked to do.

Dr. Gastelum is a most impressive physician. He was prepared for my visit and prescribed an essential monitorng device, lab work and radiology tests. He scheduled a followup for two weeks later. It took months to get this appointment following my referral, but was worth the wait.
