Unfortunately, I did not see Dr. Mendez on the date that I was supposed to see him. I did go to his office. I had an appointment at 2 o'clock. I got there about quarter to two. They took me back at two o'clock and by quarter to three, I still was not seen by him. So I was waiting in the waiting room for almost 45 minutes in his office to see him. Not in the waiting room, in an examining room. And I never saw him because I actually had another doctor's appointment 30 minutes later, so I had to leave. I did hear him next door because he was with another patient and had been with that patient well over 30, 35 minutes. And I was just kept waiting again, like 45 minutes. This is the first time this has ever happened to me with Dr. Mendez. I've been seeing him for over 25 years and he's always been a great doctor and he takes very good care of me and I really trust him.

Dr. Mendez is fabulous. Just fabulous. Unfortunately, he's too busy. Kind of like my Dr. (name removed). He's just too busy. But no, he's just the most wonderful doctor ever, and I would recommend him to anybody. So, anyways, I hope that makes you happy. I'm just going to hit the end button.

I have no problems with this office.

(Name removed) helped me with my vitals, he was also the phlebotomist that took my blood prior to the visit with absolutely no pain. Doctor Mendez always listens carefully to what my concerns are and explains treatment so I can understand it. Love him.

PIH needs to develop a system where the consumer can have direct contact with the office where the physician works. There is a huge break down between the call center and the office leaving the consumer in limbo especially for such things as prescription issues where there is an immediate need.

I waited almost an hour to see the doctor and I barely got 5 minutes of his time when he came in to see me finally. I was very disappointed with my visit.

I think on the last question, I hit the wrong button. It was supposed to be a four or whatever the best is, four for it. I hit a 10. I thought it was the same as the previous one. But Dr. Mendez is the best. I've been seeing him for years. I do not live in the area anymore. I live up in Duarte, California. And I drive the distance to go down and see him as my primary care physician. He is on the ball. He is always there for me. And I just can't sing his phrases enough. Yeah, I will not change doctors as long as Dr. Mendez is still practicing medicine. Thank you very much.

My only complaint is NOT about Dr Mendez but the length of time it takes to get in to see him!!! To have to wait 3/4 MONTHS to see a PCP is VERY disturbing!!!!

Alexander Mendez is a great doctor and I always feel that he cares about me and I think that's very important.

Dr Mendez is great at taking in a lot of information and helping develop a plan. Listens, cares and tries to help navigate complicated health issues. Great doctor.....he's just so popular he is hard to see.

I think everything is fine, with the people who care for the patients.

Everything went well. Had a cancer on my chest removed

I arrived early for my appointment. Filled out additional paperwork. Waited 30 minutes past my appointment time. I realize the later in the day your appointment time is, the more likely appointments have been running late making my waiting time longer.

It's very hard to get an appointment when I need one. I usually have to go to Urgent Care Care.

Dr Mendez is an excellent doctor and his staff are the best!

All issues were explained to me and taken care of. I value and trust his directions.

Aside from oftentimes waiting for prompt scheduling of appointments, this office and its providers are professional and caring and knowledgeable.

Through the years and living in quite a few different places I had several doctors. I must say Dr. Mendez has got to be the number one doctor in my experience. He has a tremendous personality, is understanding of issues and explains things in a way that are easy to understand. I certainly trust him.

All good! This was for annual wellness check, however I recently pulled something in my back, so we concentrated on that. All recent bloodwork came back normal, so that there wasn't much else to go over. Always enjoy my appts with Dr Mendez! He and his staff are always friendly, courteous and professional. It's a pleasure to feel so comfortable and welcomed when going for a doctor's appt!

I think your office receptionist and manager are very rude and condescending. They do not treat the patients with respect. They do not listen to the patient and they do not hear what they have to say. They just kind of like bully you into an answer. I don't agree with it. I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. I've been a patient of Dr. Mendez for over 20 years and it just progressively gets worse. But the doctor's fantastic.

Always begin and enter visits with confidence in all matters. But..... we the public are bombarded with survey requests.

Dr Mendez and (name removed) are amazing providers. Not only did they provide great care but they were just fun to interact with. For the first time in my life a Doctors visit did not feel like a chore.

What needs to be done is to train some of the nurses because when they're caring for older people like me, sometimes we can't understand what they're saying because they speak very slowly, and sometimes they're wearing masks, which makes it even harder to understand them. And I've noticed that some of them seem annoyed because I keep asking them what they told me. It's just that older people don't hear very well anymore. When other nurses are very helpful, I can understand the doctor perfectly well too, but some nurses speak very slowly and ask you questions when their backs are turned, or they're doing something on the computer. It's hard to understand, so it would be good if they received a little training.

Making an appointment is ridiculously long and I do not like that.

Simply not enough dr. at PIH.. not Dr Mendez fault.. other times it takes to long to get appointment.. also , specialist like eye. Or skin takes months for appointment.. reminds me of Keiser.. Dr Mendez has been our family dr. For 30 plus years.. he's great..

My feelings about Dr. Mendez are great, he listens and explains things so that i understand. my problem is not with the DR. but with PIH as a whole. it takes to much time and effort to get someone on the phone to answer questions in a timely manor.

Dr. Mendez is very approachable and attentive. Firm in his approach and medical conviction. The nurses were caring. Will be sending my wife and son to see the Dr.

The staff and Dr Mendez are very professional and kind.

I called maybe four times. Last week, this week, the nurses have left my primary doctor three, four notes by now. They put ASAP on the notes, you know, rush, whatever. Still no response from him. I'm asking for B12 shots because they helped me and I have not gotten a response back from him. I don't understand why. You know, it's B12. It's not a narcotic or anything like that. It, you know, it helps take away the tingling, numbing feeling that I had in my hands and feet. It helped tremendously with it. My senses have come back since. I'm just trying to get in to get more B12 shots or, you know, whatever.

Doctor Mendez was a doctor for various members of my family in the past and is now my doctor and my wife's. Dr. Mendez is, in my opinion, going to be my primary doctor. Thank you, Dr. Mendez.

My experience was great. I'm comfortable with my doctor and really feel that he listens, understands, and works to try and solve any issues. Everyone else must like him as well because it's difficult to get an appointment unless it's 4-6 months which can be a bit frustrating. Extremely happy with my doctor.
