10+++ Service from Start of setting up appt. with to finish and even the Colonoscopy procedure was given 10+++ Service. (name removed) - Scheduler for the Colonoscopy was great with 10+++ Quality Knowledge and Expertise with preparing me for the procedure. (Gave me step by step Process, Loved It!!!) Also, once in the surgery area ALL Nurses were on TOP of their GAME; Just loved the Staff and Dr. Alex Shindel, MD gave 10+++ Service.

Dr. SHINDEL shows great interest in his patients, explains everything very clearly. He has a lot of patience. His staff are professional, helpful and see there patients in a timely manner.

Dr. Alex Shindel, his team of nurses, the Anesthesiologist-Doctor, were very kind, professional, intelligent, gentle explaining my treatment, setting up my I.V. , listening to my questions, explaining the results, of the examination. Yes, Dr. Shindel's office was great in scheduling the appointment. I got there on time. I saw the doctor. The doctor was great. Everything went very well. I only have good things to say about the entire visit, except for one main thing. I was checked in an hour early, and then, I mean, I checked in on time, but I waited for an hour before I got to see the doctor. Even I went to the room, way, I mean, I sat in the waiting room for over 45 minutes, waiting for the doctor. They checked me in, they checked my vitals, and after that, I just sat in the room for over 45 minutes. Other than that, everything was smooth. So it's just the time it took for the doctor to come, which was a little bit off because it was a working day. We needed to get back to work, and they just need to be a little bit considerate on their part. Other than that, everything was perfect. Thank you.

Disappointed on the time lapse between check-in time and when procedure to be performed. 2 hrs wait from check-in at 10:40am until being called at 12:15pm. Procedure done on time (12:40pm), discharged 2:45pm as indicated. Why 2 hrs sitting in waiting room??

A great nurse, an excellent physician. I would say the anesthesiologist didn't express as much as he probably should have, but no big deal because everyone else is great.

Those employees of the facility who helped me find the office, the office staff and the physician all were respectful, courteous and friendly. Specifically, the physician was informative, professional and impressive due to questioning my reasoning for the procedure. This allowed me to explain my concerns and helped me understand his position on why he should accept me as a patient. As it is something that one does not do often, it is hard to remember all details. I know some details I provided were potentially incorrect due to not remembering correctly (dates of past procedures, names of those involved) yet this was not done on purpose. Dr. Shindel handled it all. I feel good about doing this, similar to going to a dentist (just kidding) I do feel comfortable with the Doctor, staff and facility. Thank you

I felt the experience at this provider was okay, but I feel that everything was very rushed. And when I had questions, trying to contact the office was next to impossible. I tried reaching the office several times and could not get through to the office, left messages, and I did not receive a return phone call. And even when I called one afternoon at about 4:45 and the office phones are supposed to be open until 5, they went directly to the answering service. And I believe this is something that can be improved upon.

Appointment is hard to make

I had a very good experience. The staff and Doctor provided me with all the necessary information and I felt very comfortable. They all provided outstanding customer service.

Everyone was nice also the doctor thank you so very much.

I really liked that he was really personable. He took the time to explain things even when I asked questions multiple times. He broke things down for me to understand and explained the reasoning behind tests and like anything that I was going to be trying and why it was important to my health and then what the things that I was making changes in my life and how they were having an impact on my health. He's very detailed, personable, and made me feel very comfortable during the appointment.

So, you know, there's a couple of negative responses that are like not really bad or anything, and it's not the doctor's fault. It's the hospital's fault. I just don't trust PIH. Of course, I don't trust my healthcare provider either. They sent me one of those colon tests, and it's like, well, I don't think so. I don't give you that information to use against me. I don't even smoke pot, and I'm paranoid. Anyway, the doctor was great. and he explained things very well. And like all the other doctors, they're more concerned about my blood pressure, which is sitting about 180, 190. And he's gonna get it fixed for me. I like it. Thank you. Have a good one.

Dr. Shindel is the best. I felt very comfortable talking with him like if he was my friend. Also, the front desk staff were very nice and courteous. PIH is the best and so is Alignment. It is a JOY that I am part of the above.

The customer service I experience with the doctor and the staff was fantastic. I was disappointed that my appointment was at 1:45 PM and they tell me to arrive there 15 minutes prior to your appointment which I checked in at 1:30 PM. I was seen by the doctor at 2 PM. The staff could have communicated with me and giving me a heads up that they are running behind.

It took about 45 minutes to be seen.

Extremely sensitive helpful

I'm very happy the doctor can listen to what I want to say and explain everything in a very easy way to understand.

Dr.Alex Shindel was my second opinion. He was great, he listened to me & was thorough with his examination & testing. He then referred me to a surgeon to have my gallbladder removed, due to my excruciating pain & his evaluation. It took a whole year of back & forth with the other GI doctors who passed off my symptoms. I'm now pain-free & enjoying life again. Thank you so much Dr. Alex Shindel.

I need a refund for my parking, $5. That's the money you shouldn't charge me. I see the doctor, I pay my copayment, I pay for everything I need to pay, my insurance pay. $5 for parking in a wheelchair, that's not reasonable. I need that money back. Soon as possible, get back to me about this money because I need $5 back from you, bye.

Dr. Shindel is a miracle doctor for me. For years I had difficult time swallowing food or any beverage. I wound up in the ER and became his patient. He did 3 endoscopy procedures and after each one I was able to eat again. I was down to 105 lbs and have gained weight. I am feeling much better. Blessed to have Dr. Shindel for my GI DOCTOR??

This is a doctor that sat and listened to every word I had to say. He has been trying everything to try to correct my issue. He explained all the alternatives I had and he agreed to the decision that I made. And he also told me that if anything changes to please give them an immediate call and reschedule an appointment to come back in. I have a lot of respect for this doctor. I don't know what I'm supposed to do now.

Dr. Alex Shindel is a great doctor. He's very caring and shows empathy to the patient. The only problem is some of the nurses weren't really, didn't show that they cared. So 10 for the doctor and maybe like a six for the nurses. But Dr. Alex is a great doctor.

Yeah, this is for Dr. Shindel, of course. I wanted to leave a message and say that he's 100% best gastro I've ever seen, and probably the best doctor I've ever seen. Super on point, super intelligent, at the same time very caring. Listen to what I have to say. you know, wasn't pompous, arrogant, like so many doctors seem to be, just an A plus, you know, A plus doctor. This dude deserves recognition for that. You know, there's no other gastro I ever want to go to. I wish he was a general so I can go to him for everything. So, you know, best visit I could have asked for. Everything was perfect about the visit, including the office, you know.

My pre-procedure appointment, I was told to not take my Omeprazole for five days prior to procedure, endoscopy. I ended up having bad acid reflux. When I came in to see Dr. Schindel, he said I could have continued to take my Omeprazole. So pre, they told me don't take, Omeprazole. Dr. Schindel said I should have taken Omeprazole. So that was a problem.

I like this clinic because when you have your appointment they don't make you wait long.

Staff was professional and courteous throughout the entire process, from scheduling the appointment, check in and the physician actually coming over to see me before my being discharged. Wonderful team.
